Sirish falls in love with a middle class girl named Anu (Lavanya Tripathi) is rebel in nature and is fond of her middle class father (Rao Ramesh). When he reveals the same to his father, he objects saying every middleclass girl will fall for rich guys and suggests not to fall in trap of her. Sirish challenges his dad to prove that his love is true and win Anu’s love without revealing his identity.
When Sirish is becoming close to Anu, she gets marriage proposal from her dad’s close friend, a businessman (Tanikella Bharani) who helps him all the way, with his son. What Anu will do now? How Sirish reacts? Whom Anu will finally marry?

Allu Sirish who hasn’t scored a hit so far has pinned many hopes on Srirastu Subhamastu is directed by Parasuram who is known for making feel good entertainers. Lucky lady Lavanya Tripathi was roped in as heroine. Above all, Allu Aravind was pleased with script. Expectations were good on the film due to all these positive aspects. Is this movie worth watching, let’s see how the movie is shaped up in the hands of Parasuram.
Srirastu Subhamastu has shades of DDLJ and Bommarillu, but Parasuram made it look fresh with entertaining screenplay. Characterization of all the artists was top class. Sirish and Lavany’s love track was good. The sequences of Sirish flirting with Lavanya will tickle your funny bones. Father and daughter bonding was shown affectionately. Every father of a girl will identify themselves in Rao Ramesh’s character.
While first half is all about Sirish efforts to win Lavanya’s love, second half narrates his struggles to please his and her family for marriage. The pre climax sequence was heart-touching with Sirish edifying his father about true love and human emotions. Sirish steals the show with his emotional performance.
Director Parasuram is expert in dealing these kinds of subjects. He has proved his mettle with Solo. Good thing about the film, there hardly has any boring scenes. The film has enough entertainment in the presence of Prabhas Srinu, Ali etc. Although Parasuram picked a regular story, he worked hard on screenplay. Dialogues are major asset of the film, especially in the pre climax sequence. Everyone will turn emotional with this single episode.
SS Thaman has provided three beautiful songs. His re-recording work was also soothing. Credit should be given to the makers for not forcibly including songs. Cinematography by Manikandan was top class. Editing by Marthand K Venkatesh is mediocre. Production values of Geetha Arts are high in standards.
Artists Performance:
Allu Sirish looked stylish in happy-go-lucky guy character is improved as an actor. He excelled with his performance. His dialogue delivery, especially in pre climax episode was major highlight of the movie. Sirish’s comedy timing was also good.
Lavanya Tripathi was gorgeous. She gave wonderful performance. She oozed some glamour. Her chemistry with Sirish was rocking.
Rao Ramesh has once again got wonderful character. He rightly used the opportunity by giving another good performance. Ali and Prabhas Srinu were hilarious. Hamsa Nandini was glamorous. Other artists were okay.
Box Office: Srirastu Subhamastu is definitely worth watching movie in theaters with all the family members. The film has maximum chances to click well at box office. First commercial hit for Sirish is guaranteed.
Verdict: Emotional Family Entertainer.
